Van Wey Family Update 1-1-2023

Happy New Year! Today, we started our 2023 with an update from Rob Van Wey.

 

About Rob and Julie Van Wey

 

Jesus acknowledged years ago the same problem we face today, "When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field" (Matthew 9:36-38). God is sending military members into all the nations of the world, and the Navigators Military mission helps them through Life-to-Life™ discipleship to take the good news of Jesus and His kingdom everywhere they go.

 

My wife and I first began following Jesus while on assignment with the Army in Hawaii. A couple, attending Navigator Bible studies, took us under their wings, loved us and shared the good news of Jesus with us. It is our hope that God will use us similarly in the lives of military men and women, their spouses and families.

 

Our passion is “to know Christ, make Him known, and help others do the same™.” We are trusting the Lord to raise up spiritual generations of people who love and obey Jesus in the Army, that extend to the ends of the earth.
